Join Solve Intelligence as a Legal Counsel in our U.S. and U.K. offices. Responsible for legal advice, contract drafting, compliance, and risk mitigation across commercial, product, and operations teams.
Base Pay Range
$150,000.00/yr – $220,000.00/yr
About the Role
As a Legal Counsel at Solve, you will be at the center of our expansion in the legal market, partnering closely with commercial and product teams on a broad range of matters.
Core Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts
- Conducting security and privacy reviews for customers and vendors
- Advising on legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Supporting product development with practical, business‑oriented legal guidance
- Identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including commercial, operations, and engineering
- Working independently across time zones while coordinating closely with our GC, CEO, and CTO in New York and London
- Proactively developing solutions to novel legal issues arising from our mission to revolutionize legal work worldwide

Who You Are
- Will work closely with commercial and product teams on strategic and day‑to‑day matters
- Drafts and negotiates commercial contracts
- Actively assesses and addresses privacy risks, ensuring alignment with data protection regulations
- Helps build efficient and scalable processes, drafting policies and guidelines to embed compliance into products and procedures
Must Haves
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and qualified to practice law as in‑house counsel in New York State
- 5+ years of experience at a top‑tier law firm and/or as in‑house counsel
- Strong experience negotiating B2B SaaS agreements and supporting commercial teams; excellent negotiator
- Strong legal judgment and confidence making independent decisionsExperience handling corporate matters and drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
Nice to Haves
- Experience with data privacy matters, IT security and/or corporate law
- Experience with AI and legal issues around AI regulation and compliance
- Experience advising product teams on product‑related legal issues
- Admitted to practice before the USPTO
