Legal Counsel - UK and Ireland

Reporting to the Head of Legal, UK & Ireland, you will become part of a global legal team with colleagues around the world. You will provide legal advice across all areas of our UK and Ireland operations and collaborate closely with management across our business divisions, including Retail Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, E-commerce, HR, Property, and Finance.

What to expect from the role

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial, marketing, events, and supplier contracts, including procurement support
  • Advising on reseller and distribution, e-commerce, consumer, advertising, and data privacy matters
  • Supporting regulatory, licensing, and competition law matters
  • Identifying, managing, and mitigating legal risks while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Managing disputes, alleged violations of rules, external legal counsels, and legal budgets
  • Providing regular legal and compliance reports to local management and the global legal team
  • Delivering training and guidance to internal teams on legal and compliance topics

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Counsel to join our UK and Ireland team. We are looking for a dynamic legal professional with solid practical experience in commercial law, ideally with a combination of law firm and in‑house expertise. The successful candidate will have proven negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills, particularly in areas such as marketing, e-commerce, and data privacy. You will demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to manage multi‑faced projects efficiently and independently in a fast‑paced environment.

  • A detail‑oriented, organised, reliable, and resourceful approach, with a focus on servicing the business.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
