Legal Counsel – InPost UK
Join us as a Legal Counsel at InPost UK, the UK leader in out‑of‑home delivery with a rapidly expanding network of lockers, retail partners and Send service.
About the role
As part of the in‑house legal team, you will advise the commercial, marketing and logistics teams on contracts, litigation, regulatory affairs and business decisions that drive growth across our locker and home delivery networks. You will support both commercial and network teams and collaborate cross‑functionally on strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Business partnering: Provide clear and practical commercial & contract advice across all levels of the business.
- Contract delivery: Draft, negotiate and review key commercial contracts with retail partners, suppliers and our locker estate network.
- Litigation & compliance: Manage general claims, litigation and business compliance matters.
- Company secretarial: Support statutory duties and manage administrative tasks.
- Continuous improvement: Update precedents library, playbooks and procedures.
- Support innovation: Advise on new product design and launches.
- Regulatory foresight: Keep the company prepared for legal & regulatory developments.
What we need from you
- Legal expertise: Qualified lawyer in England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction with ~2+ years PQE, trained at a reputable law firm.
- Commercial acumen: Deep legal knowledge with strong business sense, aligning legal outcomes with commercial objectives.
- Contract delivery: Excellent drafting skills and experience negotiating commercial contracts.
- Stakeholder management: Experience partnering with senior commercial teams, communicating complex issues clearly.
- Resilience & adaptability: Navigate ambiguity, high accountability and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
