Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly capable Legal PA to join the transactional Shipping & Yachting team of a leading international law firm, based in the City of London. This role offers the chance to support senior partners and lawyers within a globally recognised practice area, providing high-level PA and team support across a wide range of responsibilities.

Location: City of London

Contract: Permanent

Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days WFH

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding Legal PA position where you will act as a key member of the team. Responsibilities include:

  • Complex diary management and arranging international travel, conferences, and events.
  • Client relationship support – opening and closing matters, drafting engagement letters, liaising with clients, arranging meetings.
  • Business development support – assisting with pitches, marketing materials, CRM updates, LinkedIn posts, and client events.
  • Financial administration – billing, expenses, disbursements, and time recording.
  • Liaising with internal support teams (IT, Finance, Compliance, BD) to ensure smooth workflows.
  • General PA/administrative duties including document production, minute-taking, and team support.

About You

We are seeking a polished and proactive Legal PA who is confident supporting senior stakeholders within a busy transactional team. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Solid City law firm experience, ideally with a corporate background (shipping experience not required).
  • Knowledge of systems such as iManage, OpenText/Intapp Open, InterAction CMS, and Elite 3E (desirable).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities.
  • A professional, client-facing approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Bright, reliable, and proactive qualities – able to anticipate needs and take initiative.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary between £41,000 – £46,500, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days WFH) with full office presence required during initial training period.
