Are you an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor looking for a role that offers variety, career progression and the chance to be home every evening? My client, a leading name in environmental compliance, is seeking a professional and proactive individual to join their Watford-based team.

This is a regional position, so the successful applicant should live within a reasonable commute of the Watford area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 & HSG 274
  • Producing clear, accurate and detailed technical reports
  • Identifying non-compliance issues and recommending remedial actions
  • Completing schematic drawings of water systems
  • Liaising with clients to provide expert advice on water hygiene risk management

What We're Looking For

You'll have proven experience in Legionella risk assessment, with an excellent understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 and relevant British Standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and manage your own workload. City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualifications are highly desirable.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor
  • Excellent knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274
  • Strong report writing and schematic drawing skills
  • Confident in client-facing communication and advisory work
  • Relevant City & Guilds qualifications (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
