We are currently recruiting for a global leader in the events industry for the role of Technical Project Manager. Location: Bromley

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a LiDAR scanning team, including QA/QC Lead, Analyst, and Field Technicians
  • Deliver continuous technical training and mentorship to team members and key staff across the organisation
  • Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of LiDAR scanning projects using Faro Focus and Blink hardware
  • Establish efficient data processing and sharing workflows through Sphere XG software
  • Ensure consistency and high standards across all LiDAR project deliverables
  • Design and implement scalable scanning and QA/QC processes
  • Develop standard operating procedures and best practices for effective LiDAR deployment

Qualifications

  • Extensive background as a Technical Project Manager in geospatial or surveying environments
  • Hands-on experience in LiDAR technologies, including the use of Faro Focus, Faro Blink, and Sphere XG software (preferable, but not required)
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing technical teams
  • Understanding of 3D laser scanning workflows, point cloud data, QA/QC protocols, and the integration of LiDAR outputs into BIM or CAD systems
  • Strong communicator with experience delivering presentations and detailed reports to senior leadership
  • Willing and able to be hands-on during the initial phases of field operations
  • Hybrid flexibility and openness to occasional international travel
