Job Title: E-Commerce Manager (Lifestyle Brand)
Part-time, with potential to become full-time.
Location: London, UK
About Us:
We are a fast-growing, London based lifestyle merch brand known for creating fresh, high-quality apparel that speaks to a vibrant, trend-setting audience. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced E-Commerce Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our online store, manage product uploads, and ensure a seamless integration between our Shopify platform and third-party logistics (“3PL”) providers.
Role Overview:
The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing the back-end operations of our Shopify store, ensuring smooth integration with our 3PLs, and managing product uploads for our seasonal drops (approximately 5-7 per year). You’ll work closely with the product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the site is updated, orders are processed, and the customer experience remains seamless and top-notch.
Key Responsibilities:
Shopify & 3PL Integration:
Oversee the integration between Shopify and our 3PL providers, ensuring real-time inventory syncing and efficient order fulfilment processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues that may arise between Shopify and 3PL systems.
Product Upload & Inventory Management:
Manage the back end of the Shopify platform, including uploading new styles, updating product descriptions, pricing, and images in preparation for each seasonal drop.
Ensure all product information is accurate and consistent across all listings to maintain a seamless shopping experience.
Monitor and update inventory levels across Shopify and our 3PL system, making adjustments as needed to avoid stockouts or overselling.
Order Fulfilment & Logistics:
Work closely with the 3PL team to ensure orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor order tracking and proactively address any issues with shipping or delivery.
User Experience & Website Optimisation:
Regularly audit the website to ensure a seamless, error-free shopping experience, addressing issues such as broken links, slow loading times, and other technical glitches.
Work with the design and development teams to implement website improvements, product updates, and promotional banners.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track and analyse key e-commerce metrics, including sales performance, customer behaviour, conversion rates, and traffic sources.
Generate regular reports on website performance and sales trends, providing actionable insights for the team to optimise future drops and marketing strategies.
Customer Experience:
Ensure the customer journey on the site is seamless, from browsing to checkout. Address any customer service issues related to online shopping, such as payment problems, order discrepancies, or shipping concerns.
Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve issues promptly and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Seasonal Drops & Launch Management:
Coordinate the logistics of product launches, ensuring all back-end details are in place (for example, product availability, website readiness, payment gateways).
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure product pages are optimised for launches, including ensuring promo codes, discounts, or special offers are properly integrated.
E-Commerce Strategy:
Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to develop and execute e-commerce strategies that drive sales, enhance customer engagement, and improve retention.
Monitor competitors and trends to suggest updates or new approaches for optimising our e-commerce presence.
Platform Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Regularly update and maintain the Shopify store, including product updates, theme adjustments, and app integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime for the online store.
This is not an exclusive or exhaustive list. The purpose is to provide a broad outline of the role within which the changing needs of the brand can be accommodated. We are currently a small team, which requires flexibility for all involved. There is an expectation that other duties, tasks and responsibilities will be required.
