Job Description:

CPL UK is urgently recruiting for a Locum Consultant in GUM for a long-term locum placement in the Manchester region, based with a private provider.

The position involves working between 4 and 8 sessions weekly, with a typical 9-5 rota (possibly one late evening), and no weekends required. We prefer doctors who can commit to a part-time rota for 2-3 months, with flexible shift patterns. Some work may be remote, but on-site availability is necessary weekly.

The doctor will provide cover for walk-in, wait, and booked clinics, including at least one evening session. The role requires working independently within a team, following standards set by the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) and the British Association of Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH). The doctor will promote sexual health through health education and promotion.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of GUM/Sexual Health experience, and be able to cover contraception and STI clinics, as well as contribute to training and audits within the department.

Applicants should hold DFSRH and relevant LOCs for this role.
