Vacancy: Locum Occupational Health Nurse – Flu Clinics (Flexible Days/Hours) – London

Dream Medical is a primary care specialist company focusing on finding lucrative locum and permanent opportunities for qualified Nurses, AHPs, HCAs and GPs. We provide nursing cover in the London area to large organisations such as law firms and factories to administer the flu vaccination in the latter part of the year.

This is a flexible locum opportunity you can fit around your existing schedule with an established company to administer the flu vaccination on an ad-hoc basis. Vaccinations nationally are administered in all parts of the UK and this work typically runs from the end of September to around mid-December. We stock approximately 25,000 vaccines and have around 400 different clients nationwide.

Nurses will work to administer up to 16 flu vaccines per hour. The role offers a minimum of 3-hour clinics and reimbursement of 25p per mile if you are asked to travel between sites. The locum role offers a lucrative rate of pay and a one-to-one consultancy. We can offer numerous sessions to create the desired session length, whether you are seeking part-time or full-time work.

All vaccinations equipment, vaccines, sharps bins and documents will be on site in a temperature-regulated box for the nurse upon arrival.

Responsibilities

• Administer flu vaccinations, aiming for up to 16 vaccines per hour.
• Work across flexible clinic sessions (minimum 3 hours) and travel between sites as required.
• Maintain on-site vaccination equipment and documentation in temperature-regulated conditions.

Requirements

• NMC registration and pin.
• Occupational Health Nursing/Practice Nursing experience.
• Immunisations clinical update.
• Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year.
