The Role

As a Logistics Planner, you will co-ordinate and plan Pan-European shipments efficiently and accurately. Specifically, you’ll plan all loads to strict procedures, maximise cost efficiency while assessing load configurations, identify co-loading opportunities, and manage customs formalities with hauliers and brokers across Europe. You’ll also manage process compliance, prepare essential documentation, and ensure system accuracy, all while supporting operational performance and contributing to the achievement of key KPIs. Additionally, you will:

  • Ensure all trip and transit documentation is accurate and available promptly.
  • Monitor and maintain system accuracy in Carlo TMS for payment and invoicing readiness.
  • Report and escalate any non-adherence by hauliers or customers.
  • Support process improvements and contribute to ongoing operational efficiency.

About You

To be considered as a Logistics Planner, you will need:

  • Planning experience.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and Excel.
  • Coaching skills.
  • Experience with Carlo TMS (highly advantageous).
  • CPC (highly advantageous).
  • High level of organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well under own initiative as well as part of the immediate & wider team within the Healthcare supply chain.

Location & Schedule

Based at Northampton Grange Park 3 site (NN4 5FB). Hybrid working opportunity: Mondays and Tuesdays office-based; remainder of the week from home (subject to business requirements). Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00. The contract is a fixed term maternity cover, anticipated to end August 2026.
