Lead Financial Technology Consultant / SME at The JM Longbridge Group

Currently hiring for a London Market SME / Product Lead for my client based in the City. This is a permanent, hybrid role with a salary offering of £75K - £100K.

Skills and Experience

• 5-8+ years’ experience in Business Analysis, with significant exposure to London Insurance Market operations.
• Working Knowledge of Lloyd’s Processes - Experience with placing and underwriting insurance via Lloyd’s syndicates.
• Familiarity with Lloyd’s regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Complex or Specialty Risks - This market deals with high-value or non-standard risks (e.g., marine, aviation, cyber, political risk, professional indemnity, etc.). You should know how these products are structured.
• Broker and Underwriter Interaction - Direct experience working with or as a broker or underwriter in the London Market. Understanding the subscription market model (multiple insurers taking portions of the same risk).
• Familiarity with Market Systems and Tools - Use of systems like PPL (Placing Platform Limited), WHITESPACE, DA SATS, Core Data Record, or Lloyd’s Delegated Authority platforms.
