Your role as Tax M&A Manager

You’ll play a key role in leading and delivering the tax elements of M&A transactions, from due diligence and structuring to post‑deal integration. Working closely with senior leaders and clients, you’ll provide strategic tax advice across acquisitions, disposals, restructuring projects, and group reorganisations. Day‑to‑day, you’ll manage your own portfolio of transactions, support junior members of the team, review technical reports, and build trusted client relationships – all within an environment that encourages initiative and independent thinking.

What you’ll need to succeed as Tax M&A Manager

  • /CTA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Strong technical background in UK corporate tax and transaction‑related tax matters.
  • Experience working on M&A tax engagements within a professional services firm.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
