M&A Technical Integration Lead

JOB BRIEF

This role requires working with both the M&A team and the technical department to integrate new businesses we acquire with the rest of the organisation. The successful candidate will be involved in every stage of the M&A process, responsible for conducting due diligence on upcoming acquisitions, planning migrations, and actively participating in the migration of systems, documentation, and data.

Responsibilities

• Integration strategy—scope, objectives and planning
• Carry out technical due diligence on prospect acquisitions and assist the Head of IT in facilitating discussions with business stakeholders.
• Identify integration risks, issues and dependencies and define mitigation/ contingency plans at a transaction level
• Performing integration tasks and leveraging technology for bulk migration of data and documentation, while employing validation and verification processes to ensure data integrity.
• Communicating with third parties/stakeholders to manage handover/cancellation of contracts and services
• After integration, assess the results of the technology implementation and summarize the findings, providing feedback and suggestions for ongoing improvement.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate must possess effective communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills to facilitate a seamless transition.
• Extensive technical expertise in various systems and bulk data/ documentation migration
• Experience of working in an IT role in financial services would be preferable
• IT due diligence and risk assessment experience
• Familiarity with common IT application systems in one or more financial services sub-sectors, and knowledge of common IT infrastructure.
• Previous experience around M&A planning would be beneficial although not critical.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
