Are you a finance professional with a passion for the Food & Beverage industry? We\'re looking for a Management Accountant to join our UK & Ireland Controlling function at ISS, with a specific focus on supporting and reporting on our Food & Beverage operations.
This is a key role offering visibility across senior stakeholders, with the opportunity to directly impact financial performance, controls, and strategic decision-making within a high-paced commercial environment.
The Role
As Management Accountant, you’ll support financial reporting, cost control, and risk management across multiple contracts within the Food & Beverage sector. Working closely with the Business Unit Controller, you\'ll help deliver timely and accurate financials while identifying process improvements and driving consistency across the finance function.
You\'ll also provide commercial insights and value-added reporting to senior account leadership, supporting business reviews and contributing to ISS’s continued growth and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of monthly management accounts across multiple profit centres
- Complete month-end activities including accruals, prepayments, and revenue adjustments
- Deliver high-quality balance sheet reconciliations and ensure control compliance
- Support internal and external audits, including Financial Controls & Assurance reviews
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate deviations from forecasts
- Review and drive actions on aged receivables and open purchase orders
- Partner with Key Account Managers and Finance Business Partners on reporting and reviews
- Support fixed asset and working capital management
- Ensure financial data integrity in line with UK&I and Group standards
What You’ll Need
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in a Management Accounting or Financial Controlling role
- Ideally from a Food & Beverage, hospitality, or service-related background
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
- Excellent Excel and data interpretation skills
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
