You'll be joining a well-established and highly respected FMCG business, part of a global group, known for its strong brand presence and collaborative culture. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to support the commercial finance function during maternity leave cover. The role is based in Crediton, with just one day per week required in the office and the rest from home.
Your new role
As Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll partner closely with the commercial leadership team to deliver financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across a £26m revenue stream. You'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting strategic planning and forecasting processes
  • Managing accruals, prepayments, and revenue recognition
  • Leading demand review meetings and preparing insightful reporting
  • Analysing customer and product profitability using IRI and EPOS data
  • Evaluating promotional activity and modelling new product development
  • Acting as a superuser for the forecasting system and ensuring data integrity
  • Contributing to leadership meetings and driving continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

  • Part-qualified or finalist CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
