We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Management Accountant to join the organisation’s Finance team, providing high-quality financial advice and support to budget managers in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

SALARY: £40,778 - £45,092 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid – working from the office in Wokingham, Berkshire (RG40) and from home

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37 Hours per Week

DUTIES

Your duties as the Management Accountant include:

  • Budget setting, budget monitoring, year-end closedown and statutory returns
  • Provide support and advice to a range of stakeholders, promoting strong financial governance
  • Financial support on change projects and grants
  • Preparation and presentation of reports
  • Provide advice and support on legislative and guidance changes
  • Assisting with delivery of training, such as to budget managers and colleagues

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Aptitude for numbers & finance
  • Prior experience of working in a finance role is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to operate in large, complex and political organisations
