Manager, Corporate Strategy and Solutions
The Corporate Strategy and Solutions team partners with Macquarie businesses and support areas to pursue commercial opportunities, navigate complex business challenges, and drive impactful change. The team delivers high-profile and complex initiatives that positively influence the organisation’s success. Recent projects have included pre-trade analytics strategy development, client targeting for trading desks, business growth strategy formulation, carve-outs, and regulatory change program coordination.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many roles, this position requires 3 days a week in our advertised location.

What role will you play?
You will be instrumental in shaping strategic decisions, facilitating growth, and supporting transformation projects. Collaborating with business leaders, you will develop and deliver initiatives in strategy, corporate development, business and client growth, operating model design, and operational improvements. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insights that drive decisions and enhance performance. You will also foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment where all viewpoints are valued.
What you offer
- Proven ability to approach complex challenges with a structured, innovative, and practical mindset.
- At least 3 years of experience in strategy consulting or a related field, with a broad toolkit.
- Experience across multiple industries or engagements, focusing on business growth and operational improvements.
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Effective communication skills tailored to diverse audiences, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
- Interest in financial services; experience in M&A, digital transformation, climate initiatives, or regulatory programs is a plus but not required.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and resilient mindset suited for fast-paced environments.
