This is a start‑up culture with EY, and we are seeking high‑calibre Emerging Tech architects and engineers to join this growing team. Key Responsibilities
Work with the Management team to define the go‑to‑market Emerging Tech consultancy service and be part of the go‑to‑market team to sell these services to our FS clients. Lead the implementation of Emerging Tech services for our clients by engaging with senior stakeholders and helping them safely adopt Emerging Tech and AI technologies. Provide guidance and input into internal projects that build Emerging Tech assets in terms of architecture and engineering best practices, and where necessary demonstrate best practices through implementation.
Skills & Attributes for Success
A natural technical leader proficient in explaining Emerging Tech to financial services clients, including non‑technical stakeholders. Ability to work with senior stakeholders, collaborating to find solutions to complex technical situations. Identifying opportunities for and securing new business, including leading proposals and bid teams. A capability to direct a delivery team on all aspects of Emerging Tech and to engage with client stakeholders to oversee implementation progress.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in the software engineering industry and/or in a Technology Consulting domain. Previous experience working within financial services. Referenceable experience in leading and delivering large‑scale transformation programs to achieve significant cost‑take‑out targets, with journey & process improvement at the heart of it through use of Data and AI‑powered automation technology capabilities. Experience facing off with CIO, CSO and CDO to help them with key messaging to unlock organisational bottlenecks to maintain pace of engagement. Experience in leading sales cycle for target clients and transition into delivery lead role as the senior resource on the ground for day‑to‑day client management. Experience in client delivery in the automation space involving variety of technology capabilities (RPA products – Blue Prism, UI Path, Automation Anywhere; Auto ML platforms – Data Robot, Workfusion, Automation Hero, etc.; NLP solutions – Re‑Infer, IBM Watson services, AWS, GCP or Azure; Doc Digitisation solutions – Hyper Science, Kofax, Antworks, PlanetAI, cloud services; Process Mining & Data Visualization tools – Celonis, Pega Desktop Analytics, Process Gold; workflow‑based solutions – Xceptor, Pega, IBM BPM; cloud services delivery; knowledge of component‑based & event‑based architecture using messaging technologies like Kafka; data security, information security and design patterns for failure recovery; architecture and QA, monitoring and managing team delivery; experience in both back‑office and front‑office/contact centre‑based client environment; managing and owning business cases from ideation to delivery, stabilization and value realization; proven experience establishing self as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders; domain practitioner within EY in AI Engineering, Automation and Intelligent Solutions; proven people‑management skills and experience in leading teams.
