What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Advising practice teams on independence requirements and helping them navigate regulations.
  • Managing key independence processes to ensure seamless operational efficiency.
  • Coaching junior team members to enhance their knowledge and soft skills.
  • Working with and reporting to senior stakeholders across the firm and network.
  • Supporting audit tenders and major transitions, advising on independence considerations during client rotations.
  • Collaborating with engagement teams across the firm to guide them on non‑audit services and technology tool permissibility.

  • Strong judgment, analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Team player with ambition, self‑management and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of independence or conflict rules is beneficial; training provided.
  • Strong communicator at all levels, including delivering difficult messages to senior leaders.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work proactively.
  • Strategic thinker capable of handling complex concepts with strong project management skills and proficiency in driving projects to completion.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Adaptable and able to multi‑task effectively, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
