WORKING PATTERN:Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

About This Opportunity

We’re looking for a forward-thinking and collaborative leader to help shape the future of (MMO) Markets Middle Office, part of (MO) Markets Operations. In this role, you’ll look to lead transformational initiatives across our MMO community.

You'll collaborate closely with external teams across Sales, Credit, Legal and Regulatory to deliver an excellent experience for our clients and partners within the business. You’ll bring deep technical knowledge and a passion for problem-solving to identify more efficient ways of working across MMO. Your insights will help us respond to a constantly evolving market, uncover automation opportunities, and improve how we serve our clients.


A Client and Product growth mindset utilising AI technology is front and centre for this role, and you’ll have a deep understanding how AI capabilities can improve our processes and responsibilities.

As a trusted expert, you’ll also stay ahead of industry trends, translating them into practical strategies that support our business goals. You’ll engage with partners across the organisation, helping to shape new opportunities and drive relevant change.

This role spans many Corporate Sectors within our Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) and Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) divisions and provides Middle Office services to our Asset Manager, Financial Institutions, Business Banking, SME/Medium Corps. With high growth ambitions expected over the next few years, and a significant push globally, this will be a challenging but rewarding role.

Key Accountabilities:

Leadership:Support the Senior Manager in delivering on client, risk, financial, change, and people goals. Inspire and develop team members, helping them grow and thrive into becoming experts in this field.

Delivery:Achieve results, even in challenging circumstances. Encourage and empower others, removing barriers and championing collaboration.

Stakeholder Management: Build positive relationships across CIB and BCB, using established governance frameworks to influence and deliver outcomes

Continuous Improvement:Identify and implement improvements to operational processes, controls, and client service. Champion innovation and strategic change across the team and mentor others to think creatively and deliver enhancements.

Industry Awareness:Stay informed about market, regulatory, and economic developments, representing the organisation at industry forums and events. Promote sustainability and responsible business practices
