The successful Cegal Blueback portfolio provides an extensive suite of software to complement the Petrel E&P software platform, accelerating heavy geophysical workflows, and allowing you to connect data to the Python ecosystem.

To continue to implement and deliver on our ambitious Geoscience product strategy we are looking for a Product Portfolio Manager for a 12-month maternity cover. You will support and enable a talented group of product managers and owners across several locations. We hope you will bring an exciting mix of domain experience, product management competency, along with enthusiasm and a positive mindset that will ensure you leave a lasting mark on the team and our portfolio. As the product teams are already distributed across different locations, this role can be based in our offices in Norway or the UK.

Responsibilities

As our Product Portfolio Manager, you will:

• Own the implementation and delivery of our product strategy and roadmaps in line with our overall business strategy to secure long term sustainable growth for the portfolio.
• Drive the product development process, prioritize opportunities, and resolve the technical and market opportunity considerations.
• Engage in customer collaboration to drive innovation, get product feedback, and identify customer user cases and commercial opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement to ensure strategy and business alignment.
• Lead, empower and develop the product teams in your organization.
• Act as a brand ambassador that proudly champions Cegal’s story and value propositions.

Who you are

• Relevant experience in the geoscience and subsurface domain combined with product development experience
• A commercial mindset and consistent focus on business value for customers
• A solid understanding of geoscience workflows and relevant applications.
• Experience with leading and motivating high-performing teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Solution-oriented with a high sense of accountability.
