Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand insurance business needs and requirements (Policy Admin System, UW Workbench, L&P, Personal Lines, Commercial Insurance, or London Markets)
- Design and develop enterprise-level architecture solutions that align with business goals and objectives
- Define and document architecture principles, standards, and guidelines
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
- Conduct architecture reviews and assessments
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and interoperability
- Develop and maintain architecture artifacts
- Provide expertise in resolving technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices

As an Insurance Architecture Enterprise and Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing architecture solutions within the insurance industry. Your expertise in areas such as Policy Admin System, UW Workbench, L&P, Personal Lines, Commercial Insurance, or London Markets will be essential in aligning business goals and objectives with technical implementations. With a strong background in enterprise and solution architecture, you will provide leadership and guidance to development teams, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Your ability to evaluate emerging technologies and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams will contribute to the success of architecture initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in areas such as Policy Admin System, UW Workbench, L&P, Personal Lines, Commercial Insurance, or London Markets.
- Proven track record of designing and developing enterprise-level architecture solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
- In-depth understanding of architecture principles, standards, and guidelines, with the ability to define and document them effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the insurance industry, and the ability to evaluate their potential impact and recommend adoption strategies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining architecture artifacts, including diagrams, documentation, and roadmaps.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on resolving complex technical issues related to insurance systems and applications.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in insurance architecture.
- Relevant certifications, such as TOGAF or other architecture certifications, are a plus.
