A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced leader to take on the role of Managing Director at a growing property management business. This is a pivotal position, responsible for driving strategy, leading teams, and ensuring excellence across a diverse operation.

The Role

As Managing Director, you'll oversee eight core departments, working closely with line managers to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and commercial success. You'll take charge of business planning, staff leadership, income generation, and client service delivery, while ensuring the business remains at the forefront of innovation and regulatory change.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic and operational leadership across property management, asset management, legal, credit control, insurance, pre-sale enquiries, data & tech, and subletting.

  • Driving efficiency, revenue growth, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and financial agreements.

  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing workforce, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

  • Delivering management information and insights to support decision-making at board level.

  • Managing litigation, projects, and tech-driven solutions to enhance business performance.

The Person

We're looking for a proven leader with:

  • In-depth knowledge of residential block management and its legislative framework.

  • MIRPM, Chartered Surveyor status, or an equivalent professional qualification.

  • A strong track record in managing multi-functional teams and developing talent.

  • Strategic thinking, excellent communication, and sound decision-making skills.

  • A passion for innovation and delivering excellence in property management.
