Overview Job Title: Marine Broker Backup Location: London/Hybrid (Typically 3 days in the office) Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Type: Full time - Permanent As a Broker Backup, you will have the opportunity to not only support the lead Broker delivering proactive, high-value assistance, but also play the position of Broker when the lead broker is not available during busy periods. This is a great stepping stone to becoming a full time Broker. Requirements

Experienced in any of the Marine LOBs - Cargo, H&M, P&T, Liabilities, Yachts etc… Desire to be client facing working as the lead broker when required Ability to work in the London office at least 2 days / week

Main Responsibilities

Act as the lead broker when required. Work directly with the Underwriters. Assist in reviewing client renewal information. Draft slips and endorsements. Initiate the contract drafting process, including updates and the production of final contract documentation. Support brokers in preparing submissions, compliance and regulation etc. Track the placement status of assigned accounts and update information accordingly. Dealing with clients and reinsurers directly, completing all documentation Respond to client requests for information, including reinsurer details, financial reports, and industry issues.
