Overview

As a Retail Marine Account Executive / Insurance Producer, this is your chance to work from home full time or be based out of this broker's offices in Greece/Cyprus 6 months of the year. You will be in a senior spot, heading up a new business team, representing a specialist, independent Marine Insurance Broker with binders/facilities in Marine Trades, Marine Yachts, Marine Liability and Marine War business. A genuine differentiator from the typical generalist retail insurance broker, this role provides a platform to grow the existing book efficiently and quickly.

Management autonomy is a key aspect of this opportunity, with the goal of removing red tape and politics and empowering you to manage and grow an existing team. You will have the chance to bring ideas to senior leadership on how to grow footprint across the UK, Ireland and European markets, with international travel involved.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Marine Brokers/Producers, acting as the main focal point between the team and the Directors.
• Develop new Marine Trades / Retail Marine business in the UK and Europe, with strategies to grow footprint.
• Utilise Acturis to manage and deliver results in a high-autonomy environment.
• Represent a specialist, independent Marine Insurance Broker with existing binders/facilities across Marine Trades, Marine Yachts, Marine Liability and Marine War.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record of developing new Marine Trades / Retail Marine business in the UK and Europe.
• Experience with Acturis or similar broker management systems.
• Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage and grow a team and present to senior leadership.
• Willingness to travel internationally; ability to work from home or from offices in Greece.
