A fast-growing climate tech startup is looking for a Market Data Analyst to join their team. Backed by leading VCs and built by ex-traders and quants, this company is using real-time energy data to optimise how power flows across the grid. Their platform already manages tens of thousands of distributed energy assets, from EV chargers to home batteries, and they’re just getting started.

This role is perfect for someone who’s analytical, systems-minded, and wants to use data to accelerate the energy transition.

• Work at the frontline of the energy transition, turning data into real-world impact

• Solve complex problems across hardware, software, and behaviour

What You’ll Do

• Analyse real-time energy market and device data to spot trends, anomalies, and opportunities
• Build dashboards and internal tools to inform product, operations, and strategy
• Monitor the performance of energy assets and surface key insights
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn data into better outcomes
• Help scale a fast-moving, data-led organisation

What You Bring

• Experience working with energy markets, distributed energy systems, or climate tech
• Strong academic background in Maths, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering (top university preferred)
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL
