We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:
Seeking to hire an experienced Product Manager spearhead and own all product initiatives targeted at the Small and Medium Business segment. The role requires deep understanding of the SMB customer and will focus on product strategy and customer needs that translate business strategy into product strategy.

Meet the team:
In this role you will work closely with the Global Markets team and in particular the SMB and Partner teams across EU to define, build and roll out new customer centric products and provide product leadership to the market leader. You will also work closely with the central product organisation to define local market product and customer needs and ensure the execution of market-level fit of any new product coming to market.

- Use curiosity and drive to build a deep understanding of what customers care about (end to end), what their motivations are, and how these fundamental needs should translate to compelling product experiences that we deliver.
- PayPal is a leader in payments and as such continues to spearhead innovative ideas and what PayPal means to people and their money. You will drive discovery and execution of innovative product ideas
- Your “Customer back” thinking and insights driven input into product strategy and development will be a key asset to bringing powerful and efficient products to markets
- Be the market product & customer expert through deep expertise on PayPal’s own products as well as competitor’s.
- Develop and implement a localized product strategy tailored to the SMB market in the country
- Articulate local customer needs and problem statements to the central product organization to drive customer centric product development and represent gaps
- Define product requirements & strategy based on local market customer and technology insights.
- Translate business strategy into product strategy by partnering closely with the market leaders
- Work with the international product manager to create local PRDs.
- Ensure product readiness from a local market perspective (Alpha & Beta tested)
- Ongoing product performance monitoring to ensure early detection and resolution of issues along the XO journey.
- Translate learnings into recommendations and present to global product leads.
- Collecting customer voice and customer needs
- Understanding of the SMB market dynamics
- Self-starter and organized; strong communication skills
- Simplify complex programs through a matrixed organization with a One Team mindset
- Be a customer advocate.
- Think strategically – be able to pivot based on company and/or market context
- Be comfortable with ambiguity, and chart ways forward even with imperfect information.
