About Holiday Architects

We’re a tailor‑made travel company built on connection: the connection our team have with their destinations, with our clients, and with each other. Every single one of our holidays is genuinely bespoke, created with real passion by an expert who knows the destination inside out and has the stories to prove it.

We’ve grown from one small website in 2010 to designing holidays to 24+ destinations worldwide, and we’re still just as excited about every client, every itinerary, and every adventure as we were back then. (Our top‑notch Trustpilot reviews are testament to that!)

We’re a friendly, down‑to‑earth bunch who care deeply about what we do. We work remotely, but we make a big effort to stay connected through our monthly in‑person Connection Days, team chats, and shared successes (we’ve even picked up a few awards for our culture along the way!).

About the Role

We’re looking for an organised, creative and proactive Marketing & Content Executive to join our small but mighty Marketing Team. This is a varied role that sits right at the heart of what we do: writing human‑centred, engaging travel content that inspires people to explore the world with us, helping run campaigns, managing our website, designing creative social campaigns and keeping our marketing efforts running smoothly day‑to‑day.

What You’ll Do

No two days will look the same, so this could never be a definitive list, but your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns across email, social media, website, print and paid channels.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading travel content (blogs, email newsletters, web copy, landing pages and social captions).
  • Working closely with Destination Managers before and after their research trips (and generally!) to capture their stories, insights and tips while they’re away, then bringing that inspiration to life for our clients through creative campaigns, blog posts, refreshed website itineraries, new imagery and more.
  • Sourcing, resizing and organising imagery to help our amazing holidays shine.
  • Supporting press releases, award entries and other ad‑hoc marketing materials.
  • Helping to monitor performance metrics (email, website, social) and supporting campaign reporting.
  • Ad‑hoc marketing and product projects, requiring an ‘all‑hands‑on‑deck’ approach.

About You

You don’t have to be a travel expert (that’s what our DMs are for!), but you do need to love storytelling, organisation and creativity in equal measure.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Have strong writing skills and a real love for it – you’ll need to tell a story, keep it clear and bring places and experiences to life in an authentic and engaging, human way.
  • Have some experience in travel, product or marketing – a bonus, but not essential if you’ve got the right attitude and skills.
  • Are flexible, organised and able to prioritise your time well, balancing longer‑term projects with day‑to‑day tasks.
  • Are comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Have an interest in travel and enjoy writing about places, people and experiences.
  • Are proactive, positive and collaborative – someone who loves being part of a team and is happy chatting, listening and bouncing ideas around.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Remote‑first setup with monthly Connection Days in Cheltenham.
  • A genuinely supportive and friendly team culture (we’ve won awards for it!).
  • 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, rising by one day each year of service (up to a maximum of 25).
  • Birthday off, a self‑investment fund and five days of volunteering leave each year.
  • Familiarisation trips (the fun kind).
  • Company pension matched by HA at 5%.
  • Top‑up healthcare, including free access to a GP and counselling services.

At Holiday Architects, we’re committed to building a team where everyone feels welcome and able to thrive. We value the different perspectives, experiences and ideas that people bring, and we know our business is stronger for it.

We’re proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, ages and experiences.

If you think you’d be right for the role, please send your email and covering letter to careers@holidayarchitects.co.uk.
