Marketing Automation Specialist (9 Month-FTC)
Location
London, England, United Kingdom (Remote but must be UK based)
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing automation, with a focus on hands‑on experience setting up campaigns and working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing automation, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth through automated marketing strategies.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, develop, and execute multi‑channel marketing automation campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder and other marketing automation tools
- Create and manage email marketing assets for sync to SFMC
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align marketing automation strategies with business objectives
- Analyze campaign performance data to optimize future campaigns and improve ROI
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on marketing automation tools and processes
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues related to marketing automation platforms and integrations on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Help to develop and maintain documentation of marketing automation processes and procedures on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest marketing automation trends and best practices
What You Need To Be Great In This Role
- 3 years of experience in marketing automation, with a focus on hands‑on experience setting up campaigns
- Proven experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Strong understanding of marketing automation principles, including lead scoring, segmentation, and personalization
- Experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, and demand generation
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to analyze campaign performance data and make data‑driven decisions
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- Experience with other marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo
- Experience with Knak, the no code email and landing page creation platform
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation
- Experience with WhatsApp campaign management tools such as Jumper
- Certification in marketing automation, such as Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Specialist
