The team
You will join the Marketing Services team which is made up of around 20 colleagues based across the UK. We deliver high-quality marketing and communications activity for our clients across a range of programmes, from energy advice to households to low‑carbon travel support for businesses and local authorities.
The Marketing Services team works with other colleagues in our Marketing, Digital and Technology centre of excellence to design, deliver and continuously improve our products and services to delight our customers and exceed our business goals. We work in an increasingly agile way, and we are customer‑centric, product‑orientated and data‑driven in all that we do.
You’ll get access to a rich array of professional development opportunities in this role. This includes company‑wide offers, such as coaching, project management and leadership training, as well as specialist marketing and communications skills development organised by our in‑house ‘champions’. We also cover professional membership costs (such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing) as a staff benefit.
The role
You will be a key member of the Home Energy Scotland marketing team, working closely with our local advice centres across Scotland and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing activity is delivered on brand, on time and within budget.
You will contribute to the growth and development of our marketing activities as the programme moves towards improving our digital‑first, self‑service offerings for householders.
You will actively measure the impact of our campaign activity and support with the reporting of appropriate marketing metrics, ensuring learnings from previous campaigns inform future activity.
What you’ll do
You will create and deliver campaign activity to support the achievement of Home Energy Scotland’s objectives, including consumer and partnership marketing.
You’ll work across the whole range of Home Energy Scotland’s marketing mix including (but not limited to) social media, SEO, digital advertising, content creation, email marketing and print collateral.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with and provide expert marketing guidance and advice to programme stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
You will have knowledge of the marketing mix, including planning, tactical delivery and reporting.
You will have knowledge and experience of working in a busy team with competing stakeholder requirements.
You will be willing to adapt and thrive in a quickly changing environment.
You will be a strong and confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
You’ll have an understanding of and commitment to Energy Saving Trust’s mission and values, including our efforts to become a more diverse, inclusive and equitable organisation.
