We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our highly regarded team at HF Manchester. As a Marketing Executive you will have a wide array of responsibilities and the opportunity to directly influence the way marketing initiatives are developed and implemented. Reporting to the firm's Marketing Manager and working closely with our BD Director and the wider BD and Marketing team, you will play an essential role in strengthening HF’s marketing efforts. The Business Development & Marketing team comprises ambitious professionals who all play a central role in the firm’s growth activities. Our team thrives in an engaging and creative atmosphere, consistently delivering exceptional outcomes for both internal and external clients.

What will I be doing?

  • Perform website marketing content management and optimisation to increase the user experience, penetration and conversion rates, including content and graphics creation, as well as implementation and measurement of related key indicators.
  • Set up, configure and manage tracking and reporting of marketing campaigns, surveys and online activities.
  • Create, write and edit various marketing, training and sales related communications, including marketing handouts, PowerPoint presentations, e‑mail and postal mailings and website / social media texts.
  • Assist team members with day‑to‑day marketing tasks and conference preparation, as requested.
  • Assist with the production of brand design materials including the development and maintenance of product logos within the confines of the HF brand.
  • Coordinate internal marketing initiatives with the wider HF business development and marketing teams such as participation in client pitches, proposals etc.
  • Work with the HF technical teams as well as the wider IT development teams in relation to the co‑ordination and marketing of HF digital products.
  • Assist in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with a particular reference to content coverage and online presentation.

What do I need?

  • Experience of working in a tried and tested marketing role with at least 18 months experience.
  • A graduate, while not a prerequisite, graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience delivering marketing campaigns in a professional services environment.
  • An organised, proactive, effective communicator with a high degree of capability across all Microsoft Office products as well as potential experience of designing and delivering client‑focused collateral.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of using InDesign or similar products.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication, particularly in producing rapid and accurate copy.
  • Possesses creative thinking skills.
  • Confidently engages with individuals at all organisational levels, and effectively interacts with third parties such as photographers and design agencies.
  • Displays impeccable attention to detail, especially in proofreading, grammar, and spelling.
  • Balances teamwork with the courage to question existing processes and introduce novel concepts.
  • Displays rapid learning abilities, exercises initiative, thrives under pressure, and adeptly manages priorities.
  • Ability to support across several projects and marketing activities at any one time.
