Mechanical Contract Manager - I currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Mechanical Contract Manager to join a small expert team in Bedford, specialising in delivering refurbishment projects ranging from £10k-£500k in value across both mechanical and electrical.

Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Contract Manager you will be responsible for managing both directly employed engineers alongside specialist subcontractors across a variety of projects within the commercial sector, mainly including public schools, private schools, NHS properties and care homes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Background in heating and plumbing.
• Gas/AC/ventilation qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Must have an SMSTS qualification.
• Formal plumbing qualification is required.
• Projects are located within 50 miles of Bedford, covering Beds, Herts and Bucks.

Working arrangements and benefits

Location: mainly office-based 4 days per week with 1 day out visiting projects. Salary: starting basic salary £50-60k plus a company car allowance of £4500 per year or a company van. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 07:30am - 5pm.
