As a Mechanical Desing Engineer, you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.**The role:**As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:* Effectively support and develop the physical design of JM Fuel Cell and Electrolyser products to comply with agreed customer specifications and applications, including direct interface with the customer or supplier as necessary.* Control design and procurement of tooling, jigs, mechanical devices and manufactured components in accordance with business needs and the manufacturing road map to support the realisation of production targets.* Set high standards for technical engineering drawings providing guidance and peer support inclusive of drawing checking.* Complete mechanical design NPI deliverables for new products, including tooling & documentation for prototype manufacture, utilising lessons learned.**Key skills that will help you succeed in this role****:*** Degree in Mechanical engineering or relative discipline* Good working knowledge of SolidWorks (or other similar 3D CAD programs), Excel and other Microsoft applications* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment* Demonstrated experience of manufacturing automation development/implementationEven if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!**What we offer:**We make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
