Overview
We are seeking a Media Account Manager, Planning to take on a pivotal day-to-day management across one of our key B2B accounts. Acting as the client and media lead with the support of the Account Director and an Account Executive, you will own relationships, provide strategic direction, and ensure the delivery of best-in-class B2B media and client service, with an emphasis on ABM-led media strategies.
The Media team is responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of campaign activations across Programmatic (Display, Video, Native, DOOH, CTV), Paid Search, Social and partnerships across a variety of clients. These are core channels, but the team also operates across, TV, partnerships, influencer strategy and creative.
The Role
- Manage key client relationships, acting as the trusted partner and strategic sounding board across all media and account activity
- Own planning and deliver strategic responses across strategic campaign briefs, specific to the global ABM campaigns
- Working closely with our strategy team to connect the dots between ABM strategy, content and media execution
- Ensure day‑to‑day excellence in delivery and client communications
- Provide strategic direction across multi‑channel media, ensuring our work delivers measurable impact and innovation for clients
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Media Leadership
- Translate business objectives into integrated B2B ABM media strategies
- Leverage insight tools (Google Analytics, GWI Work, Bombora, etc.) to identify growth opportunities
- Guide campaign briefing, planning processes and hands on planning, ensuring timely, accurate, and impactful delivery, bringing in additional agency teams when required
- Analyse cross‑channel performance to drive optimisation, efficiency, and revenue growth
- Keep the team and clients ahead of the curve on industry, platform, and technology trends
- Build strong partnerships with media owners and tech providers to identify innovative solutions.
Client Leadership
- Act as the day‑to‑day client lead, ensuring clear ownership of communication and client relationships across the team and defining team roles & responsibilities
- Manage response to client briefs with strategic, solutions‑led recommendations in collaboration with the wider planning team
- Ensure general health of the account to deliver retention (and growth)
Account & Commercial Management
- Ensure smooth running of accounts, with deadlines consistently met and work delivered to the highest standard
- Identify opportunities for account growth
Team Leadership & Development
- Inspire and guide a high‑performing account executive (and growing team), translating strategy into day‑to‑day activation excellence
- Encourage collaboration the wider agency and Groupe
- Foster a supportive, fun, and productive team culture—balancing delivery excellence with career development
- Share knowledge, mentor team members, and create pathways for progression
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading major B2B client accounts within media, digital, or integrated marketing
- Deep understanding of the B2B media ecosystem and planning nuances
- Hands‑on expertise across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic and/or SEM
- Confidence managing senior stakeholders internally and externally, including the ability to lead conversations with groups
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Analytical, numerate, and strategic, with a passion for using insight to drive media outcomes
- Collaborative and approachable, with excellent communication skills
- Curiosity and passion for the evolving media and tech landscape
- A natural leader who thrives on autonomy, accountability, and team success
