Media Operations Project Manager

Overview
This is an exciting role to manage medium-scale data and tech projects for one of Omnicom's largest and most prestigious automotive clients. You will be managing time-bound projects, ensuring deadlines are met and that all stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, including scoping requirements, time and material estimation, planning and assignment, coordination across teams and departments, implementing agile methodology within the project team, maintaining project hygiene, sprint planning, project tracking, communications and status reporting. You will also manage operations for the maintenance of existing and new applications, which are always on, via a helpdesk system. You will provide regular status reports and other project execution communications to senior stakeholders within the client team.
- Deliver client projects within deadlines, hitting all milestones and achieving high client satisfaction.
- Ensure all project deliverables are of the highest standard by establishing appropriate quality control methodologies and ensuring all team members adhere to them.
- Support the Operations Director, Technology Services and Omni Customisation & Data Operations Director to implement, follow and optimise an agile development methodology.
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers that may pose risks to project execution and deliveries.
- Report on project resource utilisation by conducting detailed effort estimation for all project work, ensuring all team members record time spent and comparing planned vs actual effort.
- Maintain and execute a regular communication plan for major stakeholders to keep them informed about status, progress and risks in project execution and deliveries.
- Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale technology projects, especially following agile scrum methodology; experience with waterfall and agile project management methodologies is highly desirable.
- Project management experience in one or more of the following areas: data and analytics infrastructure projects (e.g., building data warehouses, data lakes); data and analytics within an advertising/marketing agency; digital systems integration.
- Experience of managing distributed project teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; client-facing communication experience is essential.
- Good understanding of data and analytics platforms, their ecosystems and interoperability.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools.
- Having relevant project management certifications would be a strong advantage.
- Highly organised and able to direct multiple work streams under pressure, ensuring all are on track.
- Ability to apply depth control and manage multiple work streams, directing specialist resources as required.
- Collaborative and able to work across and direct different teams as needed.
- Proactive – ability to understand client needs and opportunities and utilise available resources to create maximum impact, balancing short-term and long-term development goals.

The EMEA team is responsible for global and regional client relationships led from London, as well as the development of new data-driven marketing capabilities. They form part of our global team and collaborate closely with local market Annalect teams across EMEA as well as regional Omnicom agency partners.
Flexible Working: At Omnicom Media Group, we support flexibility for our people with a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two remote). Our standard hours are 9:30–17:30 with core hours 10:30–16:30 to provide flexibility. Start/finish times can be adjusted (e.g., 8:30–16:30 or 10:30–18:30).
