We're looking for a Membership Onboarding Executive to join our Membership Onboarding Team in Bristol and be a friendly, welcoming voice behind Roots. You'll be the first person potential members hear from, helping them feel excited, reassured, and confident about joining us!

This role is all about guiding people through their first steps in joining our growing community. If you love chatting with people, making connections, and turning conversations into happy new members, this is the role for you.

• Be the first point of contact for potential members, answering calls, texts, and emails with a warm, helpful, and positive approach
• Guide people through the sign-up process, helping them feel confident and excited to join Roots
• Support the Membership Care Lead with driving sign-ups, managing communications, and improving our onboarding processes
• Build strong connections with potential members and inspire them to be part of the Roots community
• Listen to feedback and share ideas to help make our sign-up process even better
• Take part in team meetings and projects to help grow the Roots community
• A confident and friendly communicator who makes people feel at ease
• Experience in sales, converting leads, or customer service
• A proactive, can-do attitude and a love of helping people
• Someone positive, organised, and excited to learn
• A natural team player who is happy to follow direction but has initiative to bring fresh ideas
• A great listener who makes every member feel heard
• Loves chatting and connecting with people
• Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced start-up

• Hybrid working (3 days in our Bristol HQ, 2 from home)
