Permanent | Full-time | Hybrid (2 days/week in London office)
We are delighted to be working with a fantastic Membership Association, currently seeking a proactive and results-driven Membership Sales Executive to support the growth of their member base.
About the Role:
As a key part of the organisation’s growth strategy, you will play a vital role in acquiring new members by engaging prospective individuals and SMEs through both inbound and outbound sales activity. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious team within a purpose-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Proactively grow the organisation’s member base by engaging potential members through both inbound enquiries and targeted outreach, following a structured sales and marketing approach.
- Manage your own sales pipeline from initial contact to completed membership sign-up, ensuring a smooth and timely conversion process.
- Stay fully informed on the full suite of benefits, services, and resources available to members so you can confidently communicate their value.
- Deliver a consistently engaging, helpful, and professional experience to all prospective members throughout the sales journey.
- Keep all sales activity accurately logged and updated in the CRM system, ensuring clear tracking and reporting of your performance.
- Attend relevant trade events, exhibitions, and industry functions to promote the organisation and generate new member leads.
- Develop and present tailored proposals based on the individual needs and interests of prospective members.
- Monitor the competitive landscape to support positioning and enhance outreach efforts.
- Work towards monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to overall team goals.
- Support wider team projects or initiatives as needed within the scope of your role.
- Follow all data privacy requirements, including up-to-date compliance with GDPR, and take part in relevant training to ensure responsible handling of personal data.
Person Specification:
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel, to support day-to-day sales activity.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
- Confident managing both warm leads and cold outreach to build a consistent sales pipeline.
- Proven success in telephone-based sales to individuals and small businesses (SMEs), with a consultative and results-driven approach.
- Naturally curious with strong questioning and listening skills to understand customer needs and close sales effectively.
- Self-starter with the energy, focus, and determination to hit and exceed sales targets.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload, plan priorities, and keep on top of daily activity.
- Motivated to stay informed about new products, services, and industry trends.

- Competitive base salary of £35,000 with uncapped commission (OTE £45,000–£50,000).
