Purpose
As a Mental Health Content Quality Specialist at JAAQ, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the clinical integrity and quality of our mental health video content and supporting materials. Working flexibly within our established processes, you'll be responsible for reviewing video content and transcripts to ensure they meet JAAQ's rigorous clinical standards, ethical guidelines, and quality benchmarks.
This part-time consultancy position (8 hours per week, flexible hours) is perfect for a qualified mental health professional looking to contribute to innovative digital mental health solutions while maintaining flexibility in their schedule. You'll work remotely on a consultant basis, following JAAQ's specific quality assurance protocols to evaluate content for clinical accuracy, appropriateness, and alignment with evidence-based practices.
Your expertise will be essential in upholding the trust our users place in JAAQ's platform, ensuring that every piece of content meets the highest clinical and ethical standards while remaining accessible and engaging for our diverse user base.
Role Overview
Review mental health video content and transcripts against JAAQ's established clinical quality standards and processes
Assess content for clinical accuracy, evidence-based approaches, and adherence to professional guidelines
Ensure all content aligns with JAAQ's mission of reducing mental health stigma and promoting positive wellbeing
Identify and flag content that requires revision or further clinical input
Complete quality assurance documentation in line with JAAQ's established processes
Provide clear, constructive feedback on content improvements when necessary
Maintain awareness of current evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines relevant to digital mental health content
Escalate any significant clinical or ethical concerns through appropriate JAAQ channels
Work flexibly within agreed timeframes to meet content review deadlines
Contribute to continuous improvement of JAAQ's quality assurance processes when opportunities arise

What we are Looking For

Reliability in meeting review deadlines and maintaining consistent quality standards
Comfort with digital technology and remote working arrangements
Essential Experience
HCPC registered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist OR accredited CBT Therapist
2+ years of clinical experience
Experience in content review, moderation, or quality assurance (highly desirable)
Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines
Experience working with digital mental health content or platforms (desirable)
Familiarity with professional ethical guidelines and standards
