JOB ROLE

Working at LK Bennett is more than just a job; it’s a way of life, and being our Merchandising Admin Assistant you’ll be proud to be at the forefront of our expanding business. The role incorporates supporting all aspects of Product Merchandising and Planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce, check and distribute Monday reports to all cross functional teams.
• Review performance at store and line level on a weekly basis. Suggest and implement trade actions.
• Review seasonal style performance on a weekly basis. Suggest and implement trade actions.
• Allocation of stock to all stores & websites, reviewing and adjusting replenishment levels in-season.
• Review warehouse stocks to improve profitability reducing MD & terminal stock.
• Work alongside the Assistant Merchandiser & Buying team to manage intake on a weekly basis.
• Input seasonal orders at size level to our order sheets, reviewing category size ratios.
• Maintain pricing and markdown for all currencies.
• Review website on a weekly basis, checking product info, availability and pricing.

COMMERCIAL/TREND KNOWLEDGE

• Visit stores to gain understanding of LK Bennett customer.
• Be commercial and aware of the changing role of retail.
• Demonstrate competence in all technical area’s relevant to the role.
• Carries out tasks as delegated in a timely manner working under supervision.
• Responsible for maintaining all data and understands the importance of accurate, organized & timely filing.

TEAM WORKING

• Communicate clearly and effectively with others to gather information to make better informed decisions.
• Regularly update line manager on progress, key issues and changes to work priorities
• Is a positive & enthusiastic member of the team and is able to work effectively under supervision
• Deputises for others at same level and assist with training as required.
• Provide support and information to team, stores and management as required
• Participate in regular team meetings to review product and store performance and agree priorities
• Responsible for own actions under supervision of line manager.
• Understands the importance of accurate task management
• Builds positive relationships with own team members & other functions.
• Demonstrates a positive ‘can do’ attitude to all work situations.
• Demonstrates personal commitment.
• When under pressure is able to work in a positive & productive manner under supervision.

WHO YOU ARE

• Strong organisational skills
• Strong Excel
• Experience with retail mainframe system preferable
• Experience premium high street or affordable luxury preferable
