Responsibilities
- Maintaining expert-level, up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft products and services in your specialisation, supported by relevant Sales and Technical certifications
- Clearly communicating the value of vendor technologies through tailored solutions, live demos, and strategic insights for both internal teams and customers
- Building and managing strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including mapping connections between Softcat and vendors
- Collaborating with Microsoft and Softcat to identify customer opportunities, analyse market trends, and uncover new business potential
- Delivering targeted training to Account Managers and Specialist teams, ensuring they are equipped to effectively promote vendor technologies
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate strong expertise in Microsoft solutions within their specialisation and a commitment to continuous learning
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships across teams and with external partners
- Actively pursues relevant sales and technical certifications to enhance professional growth
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Attention to detail and be able to manage tasks with clear prioritisation
Work Style & Flexible Working
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
- Working flexible hours – flexing the times you start and finish during the day
- Flexibility around school pick up and drop offs
