Mid & Senior Full Stack Engineer – React/Node/Python (Edinburgh, Hybrid)

Meraki Talent has partnered exclusively with an ambitious scale‑up that recently received investment and is looking to expand its operations in Edinburgh. The business is on an exciting journey and as part of the next stage it is hiring Mid‑Level and Senior Full‑Stack Engineers to drive growth. They have a large pipeline of work and need people who can deliver clean, reliable code quickly while maintaining exceptional coding standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high‑quality web applications using React and Next for the front end.
  • Build and support backend services in Node and Python for application logic, data pipelines, APIs, and workflows.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with team members – onsite regularly to bring the team together and enable efficient, effective collaboration.
  • Follow and uphold the company’s coding standards and best‑practice guidelines.

Technical Experience

  • Front End: React / Next – preferred, with openness to other frameworks.
  • Back End: Node / Python – Node for application backend, Python for data, APIs, and workflows.
  • Public cloud experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
