Mid-Weight Interior Designer

3 Days Old

Director - Interior Design - New York & London

An incredible architecture and design studio is seeking a talented Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join their team. This role provides the opportunity to work on exceptional luxury interiors, contributing to the design and development of high-end residential projects. You’ll collaborate closely with senior designers and directors, supporting FF&E design, furniture layouts, and cost planning, while ensuring the project vision is consistently achieved.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in designing bespoke joinery and FF&E, preparing technical drawings, and developing concept materials such as mood boards and client presentations. You will also expand your industry knowledge through trade fairs and supplier meetings, working closely with contractors and suppliers to maintain design quality and integrity. With guidance from the senior team, there will also be opportunities to lead smaller projects from concept through to completion.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative, with a positive approach to teamwork. Candidates should have at least three years of professional experience, a strong portfolio of high-end residential projects, and proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, and Adobe Suite. A solid understanding of FF&E procurement and technical design is essential, as is the ability to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

This role offers a fantastic benefits package, including hybrid working options, early Friday finishes, an extended Christmas break, flexible hours, a Private Health Cash Plan, quarterly social events, bring-your-dog-to-work days, and a 10% salary bonus.

If you are keen to work on inspiring projects in a creative and supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
