Job Ref: 2118, Cardiff, GBP Competitive (DOE). This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a highly respected team specialising in bringing claims against the Ministry of Defence where failures in duty of care have resulted in illness or avoidable injury.

The Role

  • You will play a key part in a dedicated department advising on a wide range of military‑related matters, including military deafness, cold and heat injuries and other service‑related illnesses and injuries.
  • With a varied and rewarding caseload you’ll have the chance to make a real impact, particularly through handling military deafness claims.
  • Experience in noise‑induced hearing loss cases will be a strong advantage.

Skills Required

  • Applications are sought from Military Solicitors with up to 3 years’ PQE and claimant litigation experience.
  • Strong communication and client‑care skills.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to thrive in a supportive team.
  • A genuine passion for advocating on behalf of service personnel.
