The Role

As a Mining Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing geological and geotechnical aspects of mining sites (surface and underground)
• Applying rock mechanics principles to mine design challenges for stability and safety
• Leading project scopes from conceptual to feasibility studies
• Collaborating with mining teams and technical specialists to optimise operations
• Preparing proposals, participating in marketing, and developing project teams

About You

Requirements:

• A degree in geological, mining, or geotechnical engineering
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in geological modelling software and 2D/3D geotechnical numerical modelling
• Strong technical report writing, team leadership, project management, and client relationship skills
