OverviewMobile Fabric Engineer – Contract: Key Account Network – Location: Bangor (mobile role) – Hours of work: 41.25 – Contract Type: PermanentWe’re seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile Fabric Engineer to join our facilities team dedicated to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) contract. Working across a network of Job Centres (15) in North Wales, you’ll deliver planned and reactive building fabric maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and fully functional work environments.ResponsibilitiesUndertake reactive and planned building fabric maintenance across multiple Job Centre sites.Carry out minor repairs to roofing, plastering, carpentry, masonry, and general building works.Support water hygiene tasks such as flushing, temperature checks, and basic remedials.Complete all works safely, efficiently, and to agreed service levels.Manage jobs and records via PDA/CAFM system.Participate in the on-call rota to support urgent issues out of hours.Maintain excellent communication with the helpdesk, colleagues, and site staff.Qualifications and CompetenciesProven experience in building fabric maintenance or multi-skilled building repairs (essential).Competent across general building services such as carpentry, plastering, masonry, decorating, or similar.Relevant trade qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.) are a bonus but not essential.Strong understanding of health & safety and safe systems of work.Comfortable using tablets or computers for job logging and documentation.Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused with a professional attitude.Full UK driving licence (mobile role).The CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
