Position: Mobile Gas Engineer

Location/Region: This is a field-based, mobile position covering the Hampshire region.

Postcodes Covered: SO, PO.

Salary Range: £36,234 up to £50,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

This role involves working for high street retailers and bank clients within the TS-Mobile division.

We seek an experienced Mobile Gas Engineer to maintain and repair Gas Plants, including fabric and basic electrical tasks in buildings. Responsibilities include completing PPM and Reactive tasks to legislative standards, ensuring paperwork is submitted timely, and participating in the On-Call Rota.

You should monitor subcontractors' work quality and safety, issue permits, control small works, and ensure certification and remedial works are properly documented. Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance and statutory tasks within deadlines is essential.

A full current driving license is required. The candidate should have strong customer care, communication, and proactive skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently. Accurate and timely paperwork completion is also necessary.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in relevant disciplines, with experience in maintenance, testing, and fault finding on equipment such as boilers, ventilation systems, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, and lighting.
