BAM FM is recruiting a Mobile Gas Engineer to join the FM team based in Salford. The role involves covering our contract for the Merseyside Police, which requires passing police vetting prior to starting.

You will report directly to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for building maintenance across several sites in Merseyside. The working hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Your mission

1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, complete reports and paperwork.
2. Perform reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, with associated documentation.
3. Participate in a call-out rota to provide out-of-hours support.
4. Assist team members and adhere to contractual time scales.
5. Reduce energy consumption proactively on site.
6. Oversee visiting subcontractors regarding work standards and health & safety.
7. Be flexible to assist on other properties within the portfolio.
8. Follow company policies and procedures in all duties.
9. Complete work-related documentation accurately and on time.
10. Work safely and diligently, complying with health & safety policies.
11. Undertake additional duties as required within capabilities.

Who are we looking for?

• Full Commercial Gas Certificates.
• Experience in the commercial field and mobile service delivery contracts.
• Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and service targets.
• Knowledge of health & safety and safe working practices.
• Strong customer care focus and good communication skills.
• Proactive approach with fault diagnosis and repair skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Full UK Driver's License.
