Hourly Rate: £19.00 - £21.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Working independently as well as in a team to undertake Planned and reactive maintenance services on client premises, ensuring compliance with specifications, PPM, Schedules and Procedures, completing paperwork records and providing quotations for outstanding actions.
• Respond to call-out requests to ensure client systems are not prejudiced and to maintain continuity of operation; report, quote and act upon failures and faults.
• Be fully compliant with Health and Safety Protocols.
• Achieve prompt and effective response to emergencies; diagnose faults and initiate action to prevent deterioration in environmental conditions within the premises.
• Operate the contract proactively to minimise difficulties with building environmental systems.
• Liaise with specialist sub-contractors and engineers from other disciplines to ensure efficient operation of the plant/area without disruption to the client.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Level 2 qualified air conditioning engineer.
• Experience as a mobile air conditioning engineer across London and the South East, carrying out servicing/maintenance/reactive calls and fault diagnosis, with component replacements (e.g., compressors, LEVs, EEVs, PCBs, coils, fan motors).
• Excellent experience with Split/VRV/VRF systems and general HVAC systems.
• Chiller experience/knowledge is desirable.
• Ability to work on your own or as part of a small team; good fault-finding capabilities; familiarity with manufacturer tools.
• Experience with small installations would be beneficial.
• Call out rota: 1 in 9 weeks.
• Valid UK Driving Licence.
