We are currently seeking a professional Mobile HVAC Engineer. You will attend planned and reactive jobs across a variety of client sites across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Working independently and as part of a team to undertake planned and reactive maintenance services on our client’s premises, ensuring compliance with the specification, PPM, schedules and procedures, completing paperwork records and providing quotations for outstanding actions.
  • Respond to call‑out requests to ensure clients’ systems are not prejudiced and to maintain the continuity of operation as far as practical circumstances allow, reporting, quoting and acting upon failures and faults.
  • Be fully compliant with the Health and Safety Protocol.
  • Achieve a prompt, effective response to emergency situations, diagnosing faults and initiating action to prevent deterioration in environmental conditions within the premises.
  • <>Conduct the operation of the contract in a pro‑active manner so as to minimise difficulties with the building environmental systems.
  • Liaise with specialist sub‑contractors and engineers from other disciplines to ensure the efficient operation of the plant/area without disruption to the client.

Qualifications

The candidate must have either A or B below:

  • City & Guild qualification (or equivalent) in pipe fitting and general plumbing in commercial systems including domestic water, gas, air, chilled water, drainage systems, extraction systems, ventilation systems etc.
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Heating and Ventilating Systems and Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

In addition, the candidate must qualify the experience in C below:

  • Experience on preventive and reactive maintenance of similar size equipment in a similar size commercial building.
  • Good technical knowledge and hands‑on experience on a wide range of equipment.
  • Ability to organise work, plan and cope well under pressure.

You must also hold a valid UK Driving licence.

We’ll make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role. You will work 40 hours per week but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.

You must be flexible and willing to support the team with other site general planned and reactive tasks including client requirements for the day to day running of the sites.
