Overview

CHEP is known for its pallets; our plants repair, respray and clean our pallet pool to allow them to be reused.

This role will play a key role supporting maintenance of our on-site customer solutions for customers who have high volumes. We're looking for an electrically qualified maintenance engineer who can be mobile to support multiple sites, including Dagenham, Thurrock and Sittingbourne.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical maintenance and repair on equipment across multiple sites.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure high-volume customer solutions run with minimal downtime.
• Support installation, commissioning and servicing of on-site customer solutions as required.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified maintenance engineer (e.g., City & Guilds/ NVQ/ equivalent)
• Ability to travel between sites and work autonomously or as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
